5 lb. Aluminum CO2 Cylinder. 5lb. is the most common size cylinder used in home kegerators. The specifications are:  weight: 7.6lb., Diameter 5.25", Height 18.25".

Aluminum CO2 cylinders have D.O.T. approval to be filled with several gasses other then CO2; Nitrogen, Nitrous oxide, Helium, etc. Tanks are sent empty and can be filled by a local gas supplier. If you live in the Colorado area we can fill all tanks.
