03 inch Perlick Shank - 1/4" I.D. Bore
Made in the USA - Perlicks Faucet Shanks have a 1/4" I.D. Bore. This 3" inch Shank is Chrome Plated Brass.
If a Faucet Shank has a smaller inner diameter bore, the restriction of beer flow is affected. Different restrictions are needed at different altitudes. Pouring beer at sea level you can use a 3/16" I.D. Bore or a 1/4" I.D. Bore. Pouring beer at altitudes over 5000 ft 1/4" I.D. Bore is the only size you should use if you want your beer to pour correctly.
The Shank connects to the Faucet. The size Shank you choose should be determined by the width of the wall or door you will be going through.
